Description:

This engine hour meter was specifically designed for harsh environment of motocross racing. It was built using high-quality components to assist racers and general public alike with maintenance of their bikes.

Using MotoMinder enables you to follow the maintenance schedule more accurately and perform engine oil changes, piston and ring replacements when required by manufacturers.

This unique engine hour meter is easy to install, does not require external power supply and has proven to operate for 10 years!!

Using your Motominder

Mounting

• Your motominder needs to be clearly visibble.
• Choose a mounting location where it is unlikely to be damaged, usually on the frame in front of the fuel tank. maintain a distance of 100mm(4") from the ignition coil. Ensure the mounting surface is flat. Wipe the area with solvent.
• Remove the covering from the adhesive pad and press firmly into place.

Connection

• Motominder has two wires.
• The black earth wire is fitted with a 6mm ring terminal and must be bolted to a clean earth point on the frame - the coil mount is an ideal place.
• For traditional ignition systems the red sense wire must be cable-tied along the spark plug HT lead for a minimum of 100mm(4"). See the diagram at the back of package.
• For "Pencil Coil" ignitions, connect the red sense wire to the engine kill switch wire.

Hints

• After fitting your MOTOMIDNER, run your engine continuously for 3 minutes.MOTOMINDER will record the installation date.
• MOTOMIDNER will display for 1 minute at startup, and 2 mintues after stopping your engine.
• Remember -MOTOMIDNER will record and display your engine hours. You must observe your manufacturer's recommended maintenance intervals. For maintenance information, contact your local dealer.
